Alex is an experienced tutor who specialises in Music, Drama and English. His approach to tutoring focuses on engaging with students in a friendly manner to help them to fulfil their goals.

EXPERIENCE
My bulk of my experience lies in teaching music and drama. I have taught singing to a wide range of students and currently lead three youth choirs each Saturday for the Centre for Young Musicians in association with Guildhall School of Music and Drama
I have four years of experience in leading theatrical workshops for children of a variety of ages. Topics have included The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, as well as one that addressed the topics of Love, Hate and Bullying.
I have also supported several students with their 11+ and GCSE exams, focusing on English.

BIOGRAPHY
Cambridge-born Alex is a tutor based in London. His specialist subjects include Music and Drama, which he tutors to degree level. Alex is also able to provide assistance with preparing for drama school and conservatoire auditions and can offer lessons in Piano, Voice and Oboe. In addition, he teaches English and Science to GCSE level, and is comfortable with most 11+ Common Entrance subjects. He currently tutors a varied spread of students in various areas of study.
In the past, he has conducted workshops in Musical Theatre and Music to large groups of various ages, as well as tutored a handful of students in his hometown of Cambridge. As well as teaching, Alex is a professional actor and musician.

Alex approaches tuition with a lively, constructive and engaging energy. He aims to tailor each tutorial to the specific needs of the individual, in order to assist the student in reaching their full potential.
